fasting works like a charm ..but if those of us that grew up in the 60's-70's remember that we only ate when we were supposed to now they call it 18 and 6 fasting..lol…and even before us nobody was fat because nobody had alot of money to eat. look at all the old pics of people majoriy were skinny very rare fat people ..now they put a fancy name on it and everybody things its new..lol..its ok its just nothing new its going back to the old way of life which seems to work way better…

not sure if I'm just pulling into a delusional State into halfway fasting for 24 hours but it seems like my allergies are barely there, my senses are heightened.I also have mental tics from when my dad passed away and it's terrible and only time I'm able to control them and hide them easier is if I'm nothing in me and I'm fasting. I started a Wonder because maybe fasting helps your mentality?I'm just sad about this because while fasting is very beneficial for my issues I wish something would control my tics as good as fasting. I tried medication but it sucks more harm than good. I do have coffee with a few creamers with a lot of water.

All bullshit. Everything is calories in vs calories out. It’s all about doing what works best for you to reach your goals. I love intermittent fasting and a low carb diet. A bit too high on the protein to be keto. I only allow myself a 6 hour window to eat. Therefore I push my calories to later in the day. This allows me to “get the fasting over with” and get to be full by eating all my calories in my window. I also find this very sustainable at Maintenance

IF has really helped me control my sugar intake as I’m now more careful to eat what will keep me full rather than sugary foods that will have be crashing in a few hours. Stick to filling foods like leafy greens or oatmeal.

I started fasting on Monday, and so far all I do is drink about 3 bottles of water, to keep my hunger down. I eat one meal a day and it isnt much I eat. Like yesterday i tried eating some chicken soup and i barely ate it. I cant wait to see the results after 1 month
This works. Dropped 16 lbs. started Jan 1st. I travel and this seems to be the best thing I have tried. I feel better. Sleep better and wake up better. Just starting on the journey but happy with the start
So I have a question for intermittent fasters. During the eating period, does this mean you can ear more than once during this time, or does it mean you only break the fast and eat ONCE during this period?
Interesting how the "spotlight" docs have "discovered" fasting. I guess what many of us have been doing successfully for years is now legit.

Dr. Oz is a fake, I remember when he was suppose to have Dr. Berg on his show to talk about IF and Keto. Then out of no where Dr. Oz canceled and took all of Dr. berg's content and put it on his show with someone else.
It's quite simple: Eat protein rich food with little sugar or carbs for a fixed period in the day and just don't eat the remaining hours. Its foolproof unless you have little willpower.
12 hrs isn't enough. The body starts burning fat on the 16th hr.

I eat during 8 hours in 24. Dinner at 7pm. Next meal at 11am. I want less food and feel great. I'm down to 179 from 194. All in 6 months.
